The first time I spoke to Charlie was at Tech crunch in SFO. I was amazed. He designed what I had hoped for. Distance is something that many of us face and the fact that we can't have enough time with our elders to remind us of the wonderful stories they carry with them is a sad situation. This solves that and it's a book that can remain for generations and if we can have this capture as many generations as we can, how great would that be. The history of a household that will never be forgotten and always cherished. The main focal point of all of this is the ease of use and that is no small point to consider. This company has thought about the easiest way for people to do this without frustration and kudos to that.

my son signed me up for remento. i really wasn't interest because i'm creating video of family stories on my own. i don't need their prompts etc. i also don't like getting more than daily reminders to do these things. i have tried to have my account deleted. first i could not do it myself because the account was started by my son. he tried and marie in support said the emails to me would end. they have not despite several days and repeated requests to end it. Don't sign up for someone else unless you know they want this service you just can't get rid of them.

Right now I am not at all happy with Remento. The return policy for the Legacy Box is terrible. I ordered the box not realizing that I could just upload photos myself. I cancelled the order within 20 minutes of ordering and the box had not yet shipped. Due to this experience I have no confidence in the company and don’t even want to create a Remento Book. I’m afraid that if I run into a problem I won’t get any assistance. I have requested a full refund which they say that they will honor within the first 30 days. I am so disappointed. I got this for my mother for Mother’s Day. :(
