Private AI workspace for Mac
Elvean is a comprehensive AI workspace and client tailored for Mac users. It provides an interface for seamless interaction with various AI models including Ollama, Claude, Gemini, and many more. It supports both local and cloud-based AI models. Elvean's versatility allows users to run agentic tools, and create interactive charts, maps, and sortable tables. In addition, it is capable of supporting threaded conversations and a Linux sandbox. The workspace is built for the convenience of Mac users. Elvean offers the feature to switch models during a conversation. This AI client enables the operation of local models offline or interactive with cloud models using personalized keys. Elvean's unique features include agents that search the web, read calendars and write code. Results can be displayed as charts, maps, and tables, rather than just text. It also empowers users to create a knowledge base that the model can use to search, read, and write during conversations. With Elvean, users work within a single application, reducing the need to switch between models like ChatGPT, Claude, or various browser tabs. The tool enables users to connect to every major AI provider and manages local models in one consistent interface. Elvean also presents AI responses in an engaging manner, rendering interactive charts, sortable tables, explorable maps, and browsable image galleries, all inline within the conversation. Elvean also supports multi-step tasks and provides seamless integration with tools like web search, the Apple Calendar, and the ability to execute commands. One of the distinguishing features of Elvean is the provision of an isolated Linux container for each project, allowing AI to execute commands, install packages, and write files. Also, it enables structured and organized conversations, gives access to a system-wide prompt panel, and ensures data privacy by ensuring that conversations never touch their servers. Help other people by letting them know if this AI was useful. Add your own prompts and outputs to help others understand how to use this AI.

When considering Elvean for integration into your organizational workflow, we recommend deploying a structured score card across three critical operational pillars: Security & Compliance, Integration Friction, and long-term Price Scalability. Rather than looking only at basic feature lists, modern procurement teams must assess how a software platform behaves under high load and how well it fits into the team's data security guidelines.
Depending on your operating region and field, ensure that Elvean supports standard security layers such as SOC 2 Type II certifications, GDPR compliance, or HIPAA-compliant database encryption. If the tool connects directly to client database tables or handles user passwords, verify that they implement multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO) integrations, and end-to-end data encryption in transit and at rest.
Siloed data is the primary cause of operational friction. Evaluate if Elvean has native connectors for your current project trackers, messaging hubs, and customer communication channels. For custom developer requirements, check if they provide a fully documented REST API with reasonable rate limits, comprehensive Webhooks support, and robust SDK packages in your language. A flexible API layer saves hundreds of hours of manual copy-paste overhead.
SaaS pricing packages are often deceptively simple. When reviewing Elvean's billing structure, map out your team's projected expansion over the next 12 to 24 months. Determine how costs scale as your customer database increases or as you add team members. Factor in setup costs, mandatory support plan upgrades, API access fees, and storage overage rates to understand the true cost before committing to a contract.
By combining verified user reviews from our directory with internal workflow pilot tests, your procurement team can make an informed decision that drives productivity without creating capital waste.

Really impressed with @Junior.so so far. Having an AI teammate inside Slack that can handle CRM updates and follow-ups without me constantly prompting it feels genuinely useful, especially for small teams juggling sales and ops. Setup was pretty smooth, and the daily reports are a nice bonus.

I've put about 30-40 hours into SureThing, and it's seriously been a game-changer, basically acting like a virtual COO for my business!

Deploys the backend directly from chat!

The most humanly AI i have used so far but the problem is as soon as you start piling up messages in single chat session , it starts getting slow and at some point it starts freezing and also uses a lot of resources. For time being its okay to do 3 4 messages but as soon as we continue it has messages limitation and also starts getting very very slow . For the price of £18 per month this is unacceptable and with the newly introduced feature called project, if we start new chat within the project we cannot continue with the context we provided in other chats within same project. There are lot of improvements for them to work on. And to start with the its speed and its price

gave @Botlor a quick try and the setup was pretty straightforward. It handled the basic use case well, though I’d want a bit more customization before using it for something serious. decently useful.

Being able to tell it to create an app for anything I want - for myself or for the AI to use is the coolest thing!

I've been using it for a few months, primarily for research, content generation and writing for both internal docs and public posts, and searching for data from weeks prior. It's been a game changer.

Thanks for noticing this Tyler, we really liked the idea of getting back to lifetime one-time purchases. Alice is a desktop app and it doesn’t use our cloud resources much, so this should be also feasible for the long run. Please, give Alice a try, you won’t regret it!
