The AI Diagram Maker is an intelligent tool designed to help users generate various types of diagrams such as software architecture, flowcharts, UML diagrams, and ERD (Entity-Relationship Diagram) diagrams.
Users can generate these diagrams by simply typing their ideas in plain English, eliminating the need for complex interfaces, toolbars, menus, and manual placement of elements.
This AI-powered tool can also transform existing notes, documents, or whiteboard sketches into structured diagrams. It offers automatic layout and styling, allowing for professional results instantly.
Diagrams can be exported in multiple formats such as PNG, SVG, or as Diagram code, making them ideal for documents, presentations, or repositories. The tool also offers a conversational interface for refining and editing the diagrams, and users can switch to code view for direct edits.
Other features include diagram revision history tracking and upload of attachments, which the AI complements by transforming them into diagrams. This tool is potentially beneficial to developers due to its fast processing time, intuitive interface, and the freedom it offers to users by allowing them to focus on architecture as opposed to tool learning curves.
New: Plan Mode for complex diagrams
AI Diagram Maker now supports a planning-first workflow for complex diagrams.
Create a plan before generating the diagram
Review and edit the structure, components, and flows first
Generate the diagram only when the plan looks right
Reduce repeated back-and-forth edits
Lower overall AI credit usage for more complex diagraming tasks
This is especially useful for architecture diagrams, workflows, and other diagrams where structure matters before visual generation.
New: MCP server support
AI Diagram Maker now supports MCP, so users can create diagrams directly from MCP-compatible agents and editors.
Supported workflows include:
Cursor
Claude Code
VS Code
Any other MCP-compatible agent
This makes it easier to generate diagrams without leaving the tools users already work in, reducing context switching and repeated prompting across apps.
Flexible Export Options – Download diagrams as PNG, SVG, PDF, or MermaidJS format for broader compatibility.
Publish & Share – Generate a hosted diagram with a shareable URL for easy collaboration and distribution.
We’re excited to introduce a major upgrade to AIDiagramMaker—designed to give you more control, faster iteration, and lower cost, while keeping AI where it adds the most value.

A Professional Framework to Evaluate AI Diagram Makerv3.0
When considering AI Diagram Makerv3.0 for integration into your organizational workflow, we recommend deploying a structured score card across three critical operational pillars: Security & Compliance, Integration Friction, and long-term Price Scalability. Rather than looking only at basic feature lists, modern procurement teams must assess how a software platform behaves under high load and how well it fits into the team's data security guidelines.
1. Security and Database Compliance
Depending on your operating region and field, ensure that AI Diagram Makerv3.0 supports standard security layers such as SOC 2 Type II certifications, GDPR compliance, or HIPAA-compliant database encryption. If the tool connects directly to client database tables or handles user passwords, verify that they implement multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO) integrations, and end-to-end data encryption in transit and at rest.
2. API Coverage and Custom Integrations
Siloed data is the primary cause of operational friction. Evaluate if AI Diagram Makerv3.0 has native connectors for your current project trackers, messaging hubs, and customer communication channels. For custom developer requirements, check if they provide a fully documented REST API with reasonable rate limits, comprehensive Webhooks support, and robust SDK packages in your language. A flexible API layer saves hundreds of hours of manual copy-paste overhead.
3. Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
SaaS pricing packages are often deceptively simple. When reviewing AI Diagram Makerv3.0's billing structure, map out your team's projected expansion over the next 12 to 24 months. Determine how costs scale as your customer database increases or as you add team members. Factor in setup costs, mandatory support plan upgrades, API access fees, and storage overage rates to understand the true cost before committing to a contract.
By combining verified user reviews from our directory with internal workflow pilot tests, your procurement team can make an informed decision that drives productivity without creating capital waste.

This is the first AI marketing tool I’ve used that actually helps me get things done, not just suggest generic ideas. The mix of AI-powered strategy and real experts executing the work makes it feel like having a high-performance marketing team without the overhead

Really like how it finds connection in the content that I save. I don't think any other tool can do that.

Not at all accurate…. The only thing similar between original and generated images were the clothes and accessories… face was absolutely new and unconnected.

The translation is good enough. It's free, so waiting longer for the result is not a problem

The most humanly AI i have used so far but the problem is as soon as you start piling up messages in single chat session , it starts getting slow and at some point it starts freezing and also uses a lot of resources. For time being its okay to do 3 4 messages but as soon as we continue it has messages limitation and also starts getting very very slow . For the price of £18 per month this is unacceptable and with the newly introduced feature called project, if we start new chat within the project we cannot continue with the context we provided in other chats within same project. There are lot of improvements for them to work on. And to start with the its speed and its price

This tool finally helps me understand what makes a great prompt. It doesn't just give me a better version, it shows me to get there by analyzing why the original prompt is weak and showing what to improve. The difference this makes to the final AI output is incredible. An essential tool for getting more accurate and detailed results, Great Job!

Found it randomly and tested @Mermaid Chart with a small service architecture and it turned the prompt into editable diagram code almost instantly. The structure was accurate enough to refine, and being able to fix the syntax instead of fighting a locked image is a huge plus. Styling is still a little basic, but for technical diagrams it’s a strong 4.
