Xnapper was my go to app for custom screenshots which fit to ratio and with features that really felt like magic! I decided to use the iOS screenshot edit options in the end because that worked best for my brand colours, though if you want to post something to Twitter quickly without cropping then Xnapper should be your go to!

Been using Xnapper for a few months. It's quick and nifty - does everything it says on the can :D Backgrounds look great & I'm tending to default to this instead of the built in Mac options. I still use the Mac when I want to crop which to my knowledge is not possible? Also, annotations could be a bit more flexible. Some color customisation as well as font style would be great. Overall happy with it!

Sure, I can use the macos built-in screenshot tool - but sometimes I want them to pop. When a screenshot is not for archiving, but presenting to someone else. No matter if it is publicly on a webpage, or just to convey something over Slack - I'm now using Xnapper than fiddle around myself. Getting a tweakable, professional screenshot with super nice gradient background in basically a click is so much worth it than trying to refresh my brain how I would do it myself, google for a background and so on. I also appreciate and like the perpetual license model - made it an instant buy for me. I always hesitate with a subscription model knowing I most likely forget I have the card registered, withdrawals ticking every month.
