AI assistant for automated therapy notes and calls

Upheal Overview

What is Upheal?

Upheal is an AI-powered progress notes tool designed specifically for mental health professionals. It provides an automated assistant that transcribes therapy notes and offers video calling and analytics capabilities. The tool supports saving clinician time spent on tedious note-taking by creating DAP-informed progress notes at each session. Notes can be edited and even merged with the therapist's manual input if desired. The system also delivers analytics that identify repeating themes, coping strategies, diagnosis markers, and even drug mentions on a per-session basis, allowing clinicians to quickly understand critical trends or insights about their clients. Upheal also provides guided consent collection, end-to-end encrypted video calls, and HIPAA-compliant storage to ensure secure data protection of patient information. Upheal can be used for both remote and in-person therapy sessions, with audio recordings uploadable for later transcription. The tool is currently offering early access for therapists to use for free, with plans to charge for it in the future. Upheal is designed to integrate with other healthcare systems and software once it goes live. Help other people by letting them know if this AI was useful. Add your own prompts and outputs to help others understand how to use this AI.

A Professional Framework to Evaluate Upheal

When considering Upheal for integration into your organizational workflow, we recommend deploying a structured score card across three critical operational pillars: Security & Compliance, Integration Friction, and long-term Price Scalability. Rather than looking only at basic feature lists, modern procurement teams must assess how a software platform behaves under high load and how well it fits into the team's data security guidelines.

1. Security and Database Compliance

Depending on your operating region and field, ensure that Upheal supports standard security layers such as SOC 2 Type II certifications, GDPR compliance, or HIPAA-compliant database encryption. If the tool connects directly to client database tables or handles user passwords, verify that they implement multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO) integrations, and end-to-end data encryption in transit and at rest.

2. API Coverage and Custom Integrations

Siloed data is the primary cause of operational friction. Evaluate if Upheal has native connectors for your current project trackers, messaging hubs, and customer communication channels. For custom developer requirements, check if they provide a fully documented REST API with reasonable rate limits, comprehensive Webhooks support, and robust SDK packages in your language. A flexible API layer saves hundreds of hours of manual copy-paste overhead.

3. Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

SaaS pricing packages are often deceptively simple. When reviewing Upheal's billing structure, map out your team's projected expansion over the next 12 to 24 months. Determine how costs scale as your customer database increases or as you add team members. Factor in setup costs, mandatory support plan upgrades, API access fees, and storage overage rates to understand the true cost before committing to a contract.

By combining verified user reviews from our directory with internal workflow pilot tests, your procurement team can make an informed decision that drives productivity without creating capital waste.

This is the best AI note generated by far, and also they are the most receptive to feedback and focus on quality interventions. Many options, and you can re-generate different note types without double charging for it. Great option and I try ever new AI note generator that comes out.

It's sad to see people want to try your tool out but you have no free sample for them. This may be the best tool out there, but, as mentioned, going through with the AI for minutes to explain what you want, then being prompted to pay, without even knowing if it CAN create something, is discouraging. I hope we can get a free sample or preview at one point, im interested in this one.

After my first use, I think it's surprisingly good. The only drawback so far is the PDF export option for the report which is formatless.

It's the maker of MindMateGPT here. Focus group results After vetting the survey for duplicate entries, we were left with 10 users that participated in the focus group The average user had used the app for 3 weeks, and the average frequency was daily 100% of the users felt the app helped them improve their mental health, and 90% of them felt the app gave them a better ability to handle emotional distress. The average perceived mental health score went from a 3.8 to a 8.4 on a 1-10 scale

B12 exceeded my expectations especially after I tried a few similar tools. Signing up took under a minute and because I offer a very specific set of services as a consultant, I didn't expect the AI to be able to capture my work, but it did a great job with creating content for me. I only had to make a few edits, add my bio, and was able to publish that same day. Now I get lots of compliments on my site and I've even tried their other tools like email marketing, which is great because the emails match my site's appearance. Overall I would recommend B12 as an effective, affordable, and easy to use website solution.

👋 Hey everyone — I’m Yusef, founder of @Jamy. We built @Jamy because we were tired of wasting time after meetings — rewriting notes, chasing action items, and trying to remember what was actually said. @Jamy handles all of that automatically: it joins your calls, transcribes, summarizes, pulls tasks and quotes, and even sends branded follow-ups. It works with Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, and phone calls — and connects with tools like Slack, Trello, and Notion. If you’re curious, give it a spin — @Jamy.ai. Would love your feedback! — Yusef
