It's sad to see people want to try your tool out but you have no free sample for them. This may be the best tool out there, but, as mentioned, going through with the AI for minutes to explain what you want, then being prompted to pay, without even knowing if it CAN create something, is discouraging. I subscribed for the 800 minute plan (directly through the transcript.lol website). I had errors with the transcriptions and had to purchase more credits to make up for it. I submitted the error codes to the support email and was ignored. Only when I asked about it in their public forum did I get a response. I asked only for a refund for the additional credits I had to purchase -- which is in line with their refund policy. I have sent multiple messages, but have been ignored. I don't recommend the service, as they don't stand behind their support or refund policy.

The upload time may depend on your network speed - we use Cloudflare for our uploads and try to avoid any slowdowns from our end. Further, we give 30 mins of free credits when you sign up. If your audio is longer than that, we have our paid plans for that.

Does the job quite well The transcriptions are quite precise, although they could be a bit better. By incorporating AI functions for generating quizzes, summaries, and headlines, it offers a nice variety. One thing I wish for is an editor that can divide long chunks of text into smaller parts, making subtitles appear as single-line text blocks instead of large paragraphs. If this editor also allows easy splitting and merging of text blocks, that would be fantastic. yes, I fully recommend transcript.lol

long video transcripts Use the tool for long videos (60 or 90 minutes) that are recordings of presentations or training sessions. With the selectable additional functions such as summary and quotes or Ask AI, you can then get a quicker overview of the content and at the same time really read every sentence in the transcript. As it is simply much quicker to skim through a long text than to watch long videos, the tool makes our work much easier. If you do need to take a look at the video because something is being shown there, the function in the transcript with time information and speaker1...speaker10 is helpful to quickly find the right place.

Great, but sometimes slow A great app, the quality of the transcriptions is really impressive. There is a taco deduction because the transcriptions sometimes take an extremely long time. It has happened to me several times that transcriptions of a 3-minute text were stuck in the queue for a long time and were only finished in almost an hour. This is annoying, especially when you need the transcriptions quickly in your workflow so that you can continue working. You could easily have written them yourself in this time without the software.

Looking of transcription only? This is the tool! This did a great job transcribing an 8-minute video. The speaker is speaking in English with a strong Swedish accent. There was only one small error! Occasionally the speaker stuttered over a word and then repeated it. The stuttered words were removed and only the correct word was in the transcript (even sometimes the word was stuttered and not repeated, it still came out with the correct word). It also removed all of the filler 'umms' etc.

Awesome Tool that is easy to use and fast. Still I'd love to see the following features: a) Change words in bulk. (Sometimes some words are wrong, if we could set them for a transcript before running the tool or also later, the texts would be more accurate) Example: instead of ""breathing"" the tool uses ""breeding"" If we could set a search and replace, this would really help for text quality. b) set author profiles (like assistants or system prompts) and custom instructions for text generation before running the tool would improve the text quality c) sometimes the tool thinks there are multiple speakers. A button to combine the texts to one speaker would be nice.

Currently, there are a significant number of unnecessary spaces in the Japanese transcription, making it unusable even after downloading the text. (I remove the spaces using ChatGPT).

I already have another transcription tool, but this one is much better. I love the different features such as the summary, quiz, and chapters. It does a great job of them. I've only done one transcript so far to try it out, but I'm truly impressed and am going to grab another code. A couple things that would make it even better are: - the ability to rename the files and organize them through folders. - the ability to download a copy of the other features as well as the transcript. Copying and pasting it works, but doesn't keep the format.

I wanted an all-in-one tool to record and transcribe meetings for 60 mins and beyond but this does not allow for recording and the webapp isn't perfect. There are many other apps which allows for recording but this is the only app which allows for a vast number of formats to be uploaded to be transcribed. It will be ideal if they can implement a folder system and allow for changing of thumbnails and usage of tags for better categorisation of the transcriptions. They are definitely one of the better services I have tried for transcriptions and I hope they will listen to their customers and make the necessary improvements sooner than later.

Great transcription tool...needs some export features ! A few bugs while logging through Google Account using the firebase auth handler. A defect in the client side application code....sometimes causing ( "isAuthenticated": false) which doesn't send the response and a 404 error is recieved after the transcription of video is done :)
