Automate dev tasks with AI workflows

Patched Overview

What is Patched?

Patched is an open-source tool that leverages AI to automate common development chores. The tool helps streamline the development lifecycle with customizable workflows. Out-of-the-box workflows include AutoFix, PR Review, and Dependency Upgrade. AutoFix automatically repairs vulnerabilities detected by SAST scanners or identified in a SARIF file. PR Review summarises and comments on pull requests based on code repository changes. Dependency Upgrade automatically updates vulnerable versions of dependencies in your repository to the fixed versions while mitigating breaking changes. Users also have the option to create their own workflows, either from scratch or with the assistance of a patchflow generator. Patchwork seamlessly integrates with existing development and security solutions like GitHub, Gitlab, Jira, and AWS among others. The tool respects privacy, allowing developers to deploy within their own infrastructure using their own API keys, and it's completely free. Moreover, Patched provides a managed service option known as the Patched App. This service allows users to leverage Patchwork without having to manage infrastructure or API costs, and it offers a user-friendly GUI for those who prefer it over the command-line interface. Help other people by letting them know if this AI was useful. Add your own prompts and outputs to help others understand how to use this AI.

A Professional Framework to Evaluate Patched

When considering Patched for integration into your organizational workflow, we recommend deploying a structured score card across three critical operational pillars: Security & Compliance, Integration Friction, and long-term Price Scalability. Rather than looking only at basic feature lists, modern procurement teams must assess how a software platform behaves under high load and how well it fits into the team's data security guidelines.

1. Security and Database Compliance

Depending on your operating region and field, ensure that Patched supports standard security layers such as SOC 2 Type II certifications, GDPR compliance, or HIPAA-compliant database encryption. If the tool connects directly to client database tables or handles user passwords, verify that they implement multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO) integrations, and end-to-end data encryption in transit and at rest.

2. API Coverage and Custom Integrations

Siloed data is the primary cause of operational friction. Evaluate if Patched has native connectors for your current project trackers, messaging hubs, and customer communication channels. For custom developer requirements, check if they provide a fully documented REST API with reasonable rate limits, comprehensive Webhooks support, and robust SDK packages in your language. A flexible API layer saves hundreds of hours of manual copy-paste overhead.

3. Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

SaaS pricing packages are often deceptively simple. When reviewing Patched's billing structure, map out your team's projected expansion over the next 12 to 24 months. Determine how costs scale as your customer database increases or as you add team members. Factor in setup costs, mandatory support plan upgrades, API access fees, and storage overage rates to understand the true cost before committing to a contract.

By combining verified user reviews from our directory with internal workflow pilot tests, your procurement team can make an informed decision that drives productivity without creating capital waste.

Super student Ai is a genius idea! It makes studying more fun by turning practice questions into a scrollable format like TikTok. Perfect for students who want to learn smarter and stay engaged."

Thanks for the nice comment Cath! I'm working on it by myself, it's the first app that I build and I try to make the customer experience as good as I can. It's always the number one focus.

I've been playing around with this for a few hours. It's made me say "WOW" too many times than i wish to admit. I'm going to follow this and see how it evolves. For now, i managed to create quite a nice Expenses app for personal use. | It did have some problems when it came to moving some components on other pages, but for how short the prompts it uses can be, it is really impressive. With some proper prompts it can generate some strong stuff.

Code varies from run to run. Still it is a helpful app. You can specify coding languages that are not in the dropdown menu.

Honestly this is the GOAT, I tried this tool and it was able to either help debug or make scripts from the ground up. It has support for a lot of support languages too, which adds extra points to how good this tool is.

>Why is this website so ugly? Our goal is to rapidly make the software better, not to have a shiny website. Love it!

Would rate 4.9 if possible, but rounding up to 5 stars because this app truly excels compared to other AI coding tools. Why 5 Stars: Best-in-class AI coding assistance Huge improvements over competitors Actually works for real development Real Impact: I successfully built and published an actual app using this tool - that's game-changing for non-developers like me. Bottom Line: Yes, there's room for improvement, but this is already the top AI coding app available. The fact that ordinary people can create real apps with it says everything. Perfect for anyone wanting to turn ideas into actual apps!
