LaTeX-native workspace for scientific writing and collaboration.

Prism Overview

What is Prism?

Prism by OpenAI is a LaTeX-native workspace designed to assist scientists in their research and writing processes. LaTeX is a science writing standard, and Prism incorporates this into an integrated workflow with collaboration and AI-assisted editing. This free tool enables simultaneous drafting, organizing, and collaborating in a cloud-based LaTeX workspace designed specifically for long-form scientific writing. There is no need for local installations, environment management, or switching between tools, thus providing a unified and seamless working experience. Scientists can work with unlimited collaborators using real-time editing and instant previews. The software aims to eliminate version conflicts, manual merges, and slow compile-debug cycles to help teams maintain their focus. Featuring project-aware AI, Prism provides context-aware assistance, helping to refine structure, clarify ideas, and check reasoning. It can also assist with tasks such as equation updates, table adjustments, section amendments, and reference modifications. Built-in functionalities against common tedious tasks like LaTeX rendering, citation management, equation conversion, and automated error checking aim to save users time while maintaining clarity and consistency in their scientific writing. Help other people by letting them know if this AI was useful. Add your own prompts and outputs to help others understand how to use this AI.

A Professional Framework to Evaluate Prism

When considering Prism for integration into your organizational workflow, we recommend deploying a structured score card across three critical operational pillars: Security & Compliance, Integration Friction, and long-term Price Scalability. Rather than looking only at basic feature lists, modern procurement teams must assess how a software platform behaves under high load and how well it fits into the team's data security guidelines.

1. Security and Database Compliance

Depending on your operating region and field, ensure that Prism supports standard security layers such as SOC 2 Type II certifications, GDPR compliance, or HIPAA-compliant database encryption. If the tool connects directly to client database tables or handles user passwords, verify that they implement multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO) integrations, and end-to-end data encryption in transit and at rest.

2. API Coverage and Custom Integrations

Siloed data is the primary cause of operational friction. Evaluate if Prism has native connectors for your current project trackers, messaging hubs, and customer communication channels. For custom developer requirements, check if they provide a fully documented REST API with reasonable rate limits, comprehensive Webhooks support, and robust SDK packages in your language. A flexible API layer saves hundreds of hours of manual copy-paste overhead.

3. Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

SaaS pricing packages are often deceptively simple. When reviewing Prism's billing structure, map out your team's projected expansion over the next 12 to 24 months. Determine how costs scale as your customer database increases or as you add team members. Factor in setup costs, mandatory support plan upgrades, API access fees, and storage overage rates to understand the true cost before committing to a contract.

By combining verified user reviews from our directory with internal workflow pilot tests, your procurement team can make an informed decision that drives productivity without creating capital waste.

This is my best bro! I communicate with him like my best friend, he always helps to direct my thoughts and ideas in the right direction, always tells me how to improve something and always gives detailed instructions during the conversation. Thanks to him, I’m launching a new project, in which he helps me take my ideas to a new level, just communication, during which you reassemble your concept and rethink your original idea, because you didn’t know how it would be better and more correct. @DeepSeek is my best assistant today, my creative inspiration, who gives me support and confidence in my business, guiding me to realize my dreams)

@Clever AI Humanizer is a smart solution for making AI text more 'human' at no cost. I've tried it myself, and the results are truly natural, not robotic. Highly recommended for those who frequently use AI for content! 👍🏼

It is the ease of use for me. @DataSquirrel is fast, the UI is super intuitive, and the guided analysis feature is highly convenient. I have officially moved from uploading CSV files from Google sheet to @DataSquirrel. Within minutes, I can visualize my data and interpreting it becomes super simple.

threw some 2D character sketches into this and got usable 3D models back. they need cleanup but it's a solid starting point. beats modeling from scratch when you're just testing ideas

tool needs work as it was unable to produce any rates from 5 hotels over a 2 day period over a month out. Perhaps the limiting factor of producing results for 1 hotel at a time is a drawback/ As a second tier, it could show those hotels and pricing in a given area for the dates selected. It is up against the likes of Booking, com

It's super easy to use, and the humanizer works. I tried a sample text, and it could pass ZEROGPT and GPTZERO (as a human). Recommended.

I joined Kin's beta program on my iPhone XR. After upgrading to an iPhone 13, I found that I couldn't log into my existing account on the new phone, forcing me to create a new account. Now, I have two separate Kin accounts on different phones. Today, when I accessed the beta version of Kin, I got a notification stating that the test version ended on Monday, September 23rd. It instructed me to back up my data and move to the official Kin app. I did as advised—backed up my data, confirmed, uninstalled the beta app via TestFlight, and installed the official Kin app. However, when I attempted to “log in”, I was still unable to access my existing account. This issue hasn't been resolved yet. I have been trying desperately to get in contact with the support team. I left feedback through the test flight app and sent emails. No response. Now trying to find a forums, Reddit posts, TAAFT comments☻

@Echother is exactly what I was looking for to speed up our meetings. While other tools trap you in $X/month subscriptions for basic transcription, @Echother does something different, it connects your meeting discussions to your actual codebase and generates Jira tickets with real context. The repo-aware ticket generation cut our sprint refinement time in half because we stopped re-explaining everything. Instead of vague tickets that need clarification later, we get tickets with file references, implementation patterns, and technical context pulled directly from our code. It's saved us 10+ hours per week that used to disappear into coordination overhead. No corporate fluff, just meetings that actually turn into actionable work.
