A fantastic tool for IPhone 16 Pro and other mobile phones. They just released the full suite of Dolphin 🐬 3.0 models and I am impressed by the variety and functionality. Slowed the bigger you get in the parameter count but worth it for something able to be run in your pocket with no cloud calls. Cheap too! Good product.

@Dopple AI does get some credit for small touches like the ability to change chat themes—that’s a welcome bit of personalisation. Unfortunately, nearly everything else drags the experience down. There’s no calling or TTS function, responses take ages to load, and after just seven messages, you’re hit with ads pushing subscriptions. The pricing feels messy: $5.99/month if billed annually, or $9.99/month billed monthly, and yet the free plan barely lets you test the service. After 15 messages, it simply stopped working for me altogether. That’s not just immersion-breaking, it’s flat-out frustrating. If @Dopple wants to compete with Character AI, it needs to cut the gimmicky pop-ups, add essential features like memory, calling, and smoother chat flow, and actually let users try the product before shoving a subscription in their face. Until then, it feels more like a stalled demo than a serious contender.

I joined Kin's beta program on my iPhone XR. After upgrading to an iPhone 13, I found that I couldn't log into my existing account on the new phone, forcing me to create a new account. Now, I have two separate Kin accounts on different phones. Today, when I accessed the beta version of Kin, I got a notification stating that the test version ended on Monday, September 23rd. It instructed me to back up my data and move to the official Kin app. I did as advised—backed up my data, confirmed, uninstalled the beta app via TestFlight, and installed the official Kin app. However, when I attempted to “log in”, I was still unable to access my existing account. This issue hasn't been resolved yet. I have been trying desperately to get in contact with the support team. I left feedback through the test flight app and sent emails. No response. Now trying to find a forums, Reddit posts, TAAFT comments☻

They recently changed to a “point based system” where free users get 3000 daily point. Subscribers get 100,000,000 points monthly plus the 3000 daily. Each model has a wide range of costs. Some are cheap and some are more expensive. There is no longer unlimited messages for subscribers. It has since sparked an outrage among the community with many ending their subscriptions and moving away from @Poe.
