AI teammate for ambitious engineering teams
Devin is an AI tool designed to support engineering teams in optimising their productivity. Through intelligent automation, it alleviates the burden of repetitive coding tasks. One of its notable applications is assisting with large-scale code migrations, which can often be tedious and time-consuming for human engineers. Beneficial for organizations dealing with substantial volumes of code, Devin handles code migrations autonomously after being taught how to approach sub-tasks, requiring human intervention only to manage projects and approve the tool's changes. It's worth noting that Devin's efficiency improves over time, as it becomes more familiar with the tasks and learns from previous errors. Overall, Devin could significantly shorten timelines for code migration projects, allow engineers to focus on more complex tasks, and provide substantial cost savings through increased efficiency and reduced manual efforts. Devin, thus, aims to streamline the coding process, enhance productivity of HT resources, and support businesses in delivering their core products and services more efficiently and cost-effectively. Adds end-to-end testing with full computer use, including launching and testing desktop apps on its own Linux desktop. Adds self-verification plus auto-fix behavior as part of a more autonomous completion loop. Adds “Devin Review Autofix” so it reviews its own PR and fixes issues before you open it. Starts up much faster, reducing time from task start to PR. Ships a rebuilt interface that unifies planning, coding, and review into a single flow. Adds confidence ratings during sessions so you can see how likely it is to succeed and reduce wasted effort. Adds “score first” behavior for Linear and Jira issues so you can rank tasks without starting full sessions. Adds built-in codebase intelligence (DeepWiki-style) to answer questions using repo snippets. Adds an explicit !ask trigger to force a codebase scan for Q&A on demand. Simplifies plan confirmation so it waits for approval when unsure and proceeds when confident. Improves repo-context reasoning so it finds the right files, reuses existing patterns, and produces more accurate PRs. Makes authenticated website setup easier by logging in during onboarding and saving cookies for later sessions. Adds the ability to respond to audio messages in Slack. Introduces enterprise accounts for centralized multi-org management and controls. Adds full API functionality so you can drive sessions programmatically with structured input and output. Improves speed and cost efficiency for tasks that require many code edits. Adds customization hooks so teams can shape how it runs and reports. Supports parallel session kickoff via scripts for running multiple tasks at once. Makes it easier to build automation workflows on top of Devin via the API. Runs inside a sandboxed dev environment with a shell, code editor, and browser. Plans and executes longer engineering tasks with many sequential decisions. Learns unfamiliar tools and libraries by reading docs and then applying them. Builds and deploys apps end to end, including setup, iteration, and shipping. Autonomously finds and fixes bugs in real codebases, including SWE-bench style issues. Help other people by letting them know if this AI was useful. Add your own prompts and outputs to help others understand how to use this AI.

When considering Devinv2.2 for integration into your organizational workflow, we recommend deploying a structured score card across three critical operational pillars: Security & Compliance, Integration Friction, and long-term Price Scalability. Rather than looking only at basic feature lists, modern procurement teams must assess how a software platform behaves under high load and how well it fits into the team's data security guidelines.
Depending on your operating region and field, ensure that Devinv2.2 supports standard security layers such as SOC 2 Type II certifications, GDPR compliance, or HIPAA-compliant database encryption. If the tool connects directly to client database tables or handles user passwords, verify that they implement multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO) integrations, and end-to-end data encryption in transit and at rest.
Siloed data is the primary cause of operational friction. Evaluate if Devinv2.2 has native connectors for your current project trackers, messaging hubs, and customer communication channels. For custom developer requirements, check if they provide a fully documented REST API with reasonable rate limits, comprehensive Webhooks support, and robust SDK packages in your language. A flexible API layer saves hundreds of hours of manual copy-paste overhead.
SaaS pricing packages are often deceptively simple. When reviewing Devinv2.2's billing structure, map out your team's projected expansion over the next 12 to 24 months. Determine how costs scale as your customer database increases or as you add team members. Factor in setup costs, mandatory support plan upgrades, API access fees, and storage overage rates to understand the true cost before committing to a contract.
By combining verified user reviews from our directory with internal workflow pilot tests, your procurement team can make an informed decision that drives productivity without creating capital waste.

The app looks great, and options are wonderful. I just hope if you can add memory section so the LLM knows and retrieve Data about you.

Just another Chrome browser. Installed it. Don't see any AI anywhere. Don't waste your time. Sticking with Arc browser.

This is actually amazing. It has all the main features I need to be very efficient at my work.

Can’t use it without an invite code.

Try doing anything real with @Lovable and welcome to the error loop. Has a lot of potential but @Lovable does not seem to be ready to produce real apps with multiple pieces that need to work together without getting stuck in error loops. Disappointing.

This is my best bro! I communicate with him like my best friend, he always helps to direct my thoughts and ideas in the right direction, always tells me how to improve something and always gives detailed instructions during the conversation. Thanks to him, I’m launching a new project, in which he helps me take my ideas to a new level, just communication, during which you reassemble your concept and rethink your original idea, because you didn’t know how it would be better and more correct. @DeepSeek is my best assistant today, my creative inspiration, who gives me support and confidence in my business, guiding me to realize my dreams)

The most humanly AI i have used so far but the problem is as soon as you start piling up messages in single chat session , it starts getting slow and at some point it starts freezing and also uses a lot of resources. For time being its okay to do 3 4 messages but as soon as we continue it has messages limitation and also starts getting very very slow . For the price of £18 per month this is unacceptable and with the newly introduced feature called project, if we start new chat within the project we cannot continue with the context we provided in other chats within same project. There are lot of improvements for them to work on. And to start with the its speed and its price

Great team, great software, getting better every day :)

Code varies from run to run. Still it is a helpful app. You can specify coding languages that are not in the dropdown menu.

Honestly this is the GOAT, I tried this tool and it was able to either help debug or make scripts from the ground up. It has support for a lot of support languages too, which adds extra points to how good this tool is.

A whole new way of learning how to code

>Why is this website so ugly? Our goal is to rapidly make the software better, not to have a shiny website. Love it!

Would rate 4.9 if possible, but rounding up to 5 stars because this app truly excels compared to other AI coding tools. Why 5 Stars: Best-in-class AI coding assistance Huge improvements over competitors Actually works for real development Real Impact: I successfully built and published an actual app using this tool - that's game-changing for non-developers like me. Bottom Line: Yes, there's room for improvement, but this is already the top AI coding app available. The fact that ordinary people can create real apps with it says everything. Perfect for anyone wanting to turn ideas into actual apps!

@Cursor is underrated.

The tool's quality has dropped significantly over the past three months. The AI is taking three times longer to solve problems and is still making many mistakes. Accuracy has decreased by at least 60%. I had to manually fix everything and stop using the prompt. Unfortunately, it used to work very well for me, but now it no longer does.
