Moreover, DeepSeek makes its research and models available for open-source contributions, further driving advances in the field. Introduced two variants: V4-Pro (~1.6T params) and V4-Flash (~284B params) Major upgrade to Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) architecture, improving efficiency and scalability Added ~1 million token context window, enabling much longer conversations and code understanding Significant boost in coding, reasoning, and agent capabilities compared to previous versions Focus on higher performance at lower cost, competing with top closed-source models Much longer code understanding, with claims of over 1M token context enabled by a new sparse attention approach. Better repo-level work, aiming for multi-file reasoning like tracking imports, types across modules, and cross-file refactors. Stronger “memory-like” behavior for projects, via Engram conditional memory meant to retain and recall repo conventions and patterns. More stable scaling and training efficiency, tied to the mHC (Manifold-Constrained Hyper-Connections) method DeepSeek publishe Introduced DeepSeek Sparse Attention (DSA), a new sparse-attention system that greatly reduces compute and memory usage. Long-context performance improved, enabling faster processing of long documents, large prompts, and extended conversations. Inference cost significantly reduced — API pricing cut by more than half, making large-scale usage much more affordable. Model efficiency improved while maintaining performance similar to DeepSeek V3.1 on most tasks. Strong performance on reasoning, coding, and QA tasks, with some areas showing slight improvements. Continued support for chat mode and reasoner mode, now optimized with V3.2 architecture. Released with open-source weights, code, and tooling for easy deployment and experimentation. Introduced DeepSeek Sparse Attention (DSA) for more efficient long-context handling. API cost reduced by ~50% compared to V3.1. Improved benchmarks in math/reasoning (e.g., AIME up), with small trade-offs in some knowledge tasks. Both deepseek-chat and deepseek-reasoner models upgraded to V3.2 weights. Added native support/optimizations for Chinese accelerators (Huawei Ascend, Cambricon, Hygon) alongside Nvidia GPUs. Major improvements in reasoning and problem-solving Handles math, coding, logic, and even Chinese writing more naturally—no need to switch modes Now supports 128K tokens (that’s about 300+ pages of text!) Perfect for long conversations, documents, and deep context Uses a Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) system—think of it as calling in the right expert at the right time This makes it more efficient and accurate across a wide range of tasks Free to use, build on, and modify Released under the permissive MIT License 🧠 671B MoE parameters 🚀 37B activated parameters 📚 Trained on 14.8T high-quality tokens Supports up to 128,000 tokens, improving management of long-term dependencies. Advanced Training Techniques Achieves a score of 80 on the HumanEval benchmark, indicating strong coding capabilities. Features Multi-head Latent Attention (MLA) for a 93.3% reduction in KV cache size and the DeepSeekMoE architecture for improved training efficiency. Saves approximately 42.5% on training costs and increases generation throughput by 5.76 times. Demonstrates robust performance in both English and Chinese. These enhancements position DeepSeek 2.0 as a more powerful and efficient model for natural language processing tasks compared to its predecessor. Help other people by letting them know if this AI was useful.

A Professional Framework to Evaluate DeepSeekv4.0

When considering DeepSeekv4.0 for integration into your organizational workflow, we recommend deploying a structured score card across three critical operational pillars: Security & Compliance, Integration Friction, and long-term Price Scalability. Rather than looking only at basic feature lists, modern procurement teams must assess how a software platform behaves under high load and how well it fits into the team's data security guidelines.

1. Security and Database Compliance

Depending on your operating region and field, ensure that DeepSeekv4.0 supports standard security layers such as SOC 2 Type II certifications, GDPR compliance, or HIPAA-compliant database encryption. If the tool connects directly to client database tables or handles user passwords, verify that they implement multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO) integrations, and end-to-end data encryption in transit and at rest.

2. API Coverage and Custom Integrations

Siloed data is the primary cause of operational friction. Evaluate if DeepSeekv4.0 has native connectors for your current project trackers, messaging hubs, and customer communication channels. For custom developer requirements, check if they provide a fully documented REST API with reasonable rate limits, comprehensive Webhooks support, and robust SDK packages in your language. A flexible API layer saves hundreds of hours of manual copy-paste overhead.

3. Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

SaaS pricing packages are often deceptively simple. When reviewing DeepSeekv4.0's billing structure, map out your team's projected expansion over the next 12 to 24 months. Determine how costs scale as your customer database increases or as you add team members. Factor in setup costs, mandatory support plan upgrades, API access fees, and storage overage rates to understand the true cost before committing to a contract.

By combining verified user reviews from our directory with internal workflow pilot tests, your procurement team can make an informed decision that drives productivity without creating capital waste.

The most humanly AI i have used so far but the problem is as soon as you start piling up messages in single chat session , it starts getting slow and at some point it starts freezing and also uses a lot of resources. For time being its okay to do 3 4 messages but as soon as we continue it has messages limitation and also starts getting very very slow . For the price of £18 per month this is unacceptable and with the newly introduced feature called project, if we start new chat within the project we cannot continue with the context we provided in other chats within same project. There are lot of improvements for them to work on. And to start with the its speed and its price

This is my best bro! I communicate with him like my best friend, he always helps to direct my thoughts and ideas in the right direction, always tells me how to improve something and always gives detailed instructions during the conversation. Thanks to him, I’m launching a new project, in which he helps me take my ideas to a new level, just communication, during which you reassemble your concept and rethink your original idea, because you didn’t know how it would be better and more correct. @DeepSeek is my best assistant today, my creative inspiration, who gives me support and confidence in my business, guiding me to realize my dreams)

it might not be better than chatgpt, but hear me out, its writing style is the closest to the human writing. if you know how to prompt, you can bypass the heavy detectors like originality.ai or gptzero :)

pushed @DeepSeek into my daily grind and it's a quiet productivity cheat: keeps long context, auto chuncks messy briefs into tidy to dos and gives you workable first drafts so I'm editing instead of starting from zero. feels like a copilot that sets the runway so I can just take off. kudos to the team! :3

I’ve been using @Collate to go through technical PDFs, and it’s been surprisingly handy. Summarizing docs and being able to ask questions directly saves me time, especially when I’m skimming through research or API references. No sign-ups, works offline, and everything stays on my device — which I appreciate.

Miro has massively improved how we collaborate and execute. The AI features have made a real difference in day-to-day productivity, helping us structure ideas quickly and get to decisions faster. What really surprised me is the new prototyping feature: it’s now much easier to turn a workshop board into an actual prototype and iterate with the team. If you’re running product work, workshops, roadmaps, or even GTM planning, Miro is worth it.

Hi everyone. 👋 I created @Ozigi because I was tired of seeing AI slop in content all over the internet, from social media posts to long-form content. @Ozigi operates on two principles: 1. We eliminate AI slop words from your content, using a banned lexicon feature that filters common/known AI words or structures from getting into your content. 2. We encourage a human-in-the-loop philosophy. We do not believe in mindless automation that values quantity over quality. We value quality, and that is why it is important to us to make sure that you--a human--reviews the generated content first before setting it up for publishing. @Ozigi does more than just social media content. It generates email newsletters and blogppsts as well.
