I joined Kin's beta program on my iPhone XR. After upgrading to an iPhone 13, I found that I couldn't log into my existing account on the new phone, forcing me to create a new account. Now, I have two separate Kin accounts on different phones. Today, when I accessed the beta version of Kin, I got a notification stating that the test version ended on Monday, September 23rd. It instructed me to back up my data and move to the official Kin app. I did as advised—backed up my data, confirmed, uninstalled the beta app via TestFlight, and installed the official Kin app. However, when I attempted to “log in”, I was still unable to access my existing account. This issue hasn't been resolved yet. I have been trying desperately to get in contact with the support team. I left feedback through the test flight app and sent emails. No response. Now trying to find a forums, Reddit posts, TAAFT comments☻

This may be the best tool out there, but, as mentioned, going through with the AI for minutes to explain what you want, then being prompted to pay, without even knowing if it CAN create something, is discouraging. I'm usually kinda skeptical with tools that send stuff over email, but this one had the full book in my inbox in like a min. You can even pick how and what you wanna download, it has text, cover, epub, pdf. The story was an interesting read too. As a heads up though, you only get 1 free book and the max that you can go for is 10 chapters, which adds up to about 20-something pages, so basically don't expect a full novel is what I'm saying. Still really good overall.

Note that the free version says to download your book but it only shows about 4 pages then you have to pay to access the rest, so misleading. It would be better to say this will be 6 pages free or something like that. Also a lot of the information was made up and very basic. It's not linked to your own BOT or checks a website to have info about you as an author. I'm not sure if the paid version just allows you to have more quantity of the same , or have more features. Overall I won't bother to download the part of the book they provided. Back to Chatgpt for me.

Tried this after the BookAIWriter experiment and it actually lets you go for a full book length which was the main thing missing before. Setup is a bit more involved, you have to fill in more details about your topic and audience before it starts writing. Quality is decent but not amazing, the chapters get a bit repetitive in the middle and I had to rewrite some parts myself. Worth checking out if you want something longer than 20 pages.
